What is Intergalactic Surly Day?

We're turning 21 this year and decided we may as well throw a party to bring together the bike community from the farthest reaches of the galaxies to celebrate bikes, friends, and good times in a non-competitive, welcome-to-all atmosphere.

In order to make sure as many fellow humanoids as possible can get in on the fun, we've invited Surly partner shops from far and wide to host simultaneous events in their areas.

We're doing it because we believe time spent on bikes makes people more self-reliant, carefree and happy, and what's better than that? Well-behaved animals, extraterrestrial life forms, and humanoids of all ages and flavors are welcome at Intergalactic Surly Day. Hell, you don't even need to own a Surly to join in on the fun.

Want to join us?

Since no two bike shops are exactly alike, no two Intergalactic Surly Day parties will be alike either. Take a look below to find the party nearest you and see what your local shop has in store. If there isn't a party within arm's reach, you can still gather your friends for a group ride and be part of the fun. Prefer to party alone? Embark on that solo mission you've always wanted to do. Injured? Throw your bike in the stand, put on some tunes, grab a beer and wrench. Just have fun. It's that simple.
